Every Quilt Is Worth Finishing....

These four vintage quilts came to me from three different clients. Each arrived as a quilt top needing a little love and repair before it could finally become the finished quilt it was meant to be.

One of my favorite parts of working with vintage quilts is hearing what is known about their history—and wondering about the hands that carefully pieced and stitched them so many years ago.

For each quilt, we made the needed repairs, gently washed and cared for the top, and then chose a quilting pattern, backing, and binding that would honor its history while adding to its beauty.

Thank you, Connie, John, and Eric, for trusting me with these special treasures and allowing me to help bring them to life!

I’d love to help bring your quilt top to life, too. Whether it’s your very first (and perhaps imperfect!) quilt, a modern project you’ve just completed, or a vintage quilt top tucked away because you weren’t sure it could be finished, I’d love to work with you.

Every quilt has a story - and every quilt is worth finishing!
