When the Quilting Brings It All Together....

I recently finished this quilt using the Percussion pattern by Shadow Valley Quilts and Canvas fabric by Northcott Fabrics. I really like the movement created by the geometric design and the combination of teal, blue, gray and soft neutrals.

For the quilting, I chose Free Motion 2 by Sew Shabby Quilting. The soft curves and swirls provide a nice contrast to the angles in the piecing and add texture without competing with the design. Minky backing always provides a lush backing and highlights the quilting design.
